I went to Robbins Brothers today and saw a ring (diamond) that I liked, I put a deposit on it, however now I am having second thoughts, because I saw rings with the same characteristics (1.7 carat, J color, SI1) for a lot less on Bluenile.com, do you recommend purchasing the diamond from Blue Nile? If so, I see a bunch of diamonds with the same 4Cs at different prices, how can I tell the difference between one and the other?
Generally speaking, Robbins Bros. is not the best company. https://www.diamonds.pro/reviews/robbins-bros/
If you tell me what what style of setting (solitaire, halo, pave or other), metal (platinum/white or yellow gold) and shape of diamond you like, I’ll be happy to help you find a diamond on Blue Nile. I recommend searching for higher clarity grade to make sure that the stone is eye-clean. Other than that, Blue Nile is a great choice to go.
Thanks for the email. I am looking for a 1.7 carat or above J color or above, SI1 or above, ideal cut or above, it will be on a platinum solitaire ring, and I would like a round diamond. My budget is max $9,000.
Thank you very much!
Thank you for the information.
I found this diamond for you:
www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.75-carat-j-color-si1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-2055507?a_aid=dmnd1357
It’s very well cut, eye-clean and going to look colorless in the style of setting you like.
What do you think?
Sure, but we can stick to Blue Nile, I’ve had several friends buy from them, so I want to stick to them.
Thanks.
Sure, here is the biggest diamond I found from Blue Nile:
Blue Nile LD07634124
It’s very well cut and it has great overall specifications.
Also, Blue Nile just reached out to us. They love our education and wanted to offer a coupon for our readers [contact us for your own unique coupon code].
