Thanks so much for sending that through. I was wondering if I send you a link to a diamond I am thinking of purchasing, would you tell me what you think?
Thanks in advance.
Sure, I’ll be happy to comment on the stone. Can you also tell me what style of setting (solitaire, halo, pave or other) and metal (platinum/white or yellow gold) you’re going to use? Different settings suit certain colors better. I want to make sure that the stone is going to look colorless (https://www.diamonds.pro/education/color/).
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it.
I am looking at a 3 stone white gold ring with the centre stone to be .70 & the side stones to be .30 approx each. Cut is excellent or ideal & Colour is H…
Here are the links. I just want to be sure these aren’t cloudy diamonds. What do you think?

Well, I wouldn’t go for these stones. Cloud as an only or the first listed inclusion is an issue. And I’m afraid that the inclusions on the 0.69 carat stone will be eye-visible.
Have a look at this diamond:
www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/0.71-carat-h-color-si2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-2380866?a_aid=dmnd1357
It’s very well cut, colorless and the feather on 1 o’clock can be covered by a prong of a setting.
Let me know what you decide.
Thanks very much for your feedback & recommendation… I thought the .69 would also be eye visible but a consultant from JA said it wouldn’t be!! I may have to review as it’s a bit more than I wanted to spend. Thanks so much.
……
I may see if I can make the side diamonds smaller because this is a beautiful diamond! Thanks very much
My pleasure helping you. Let me know what you decide.
I was searching for another option. If you want to stay under $1700, the stone would be smaller than 0.65 carat. Keep me posted.
Thanks so much, I might have to look at .65 as .5 isn’t that much of a difference.
Thanks again for all your help!
This is my suggestion of a lower carat stone up to $1700.
Thank you so much for that. Do you mind me asking what you think of the Holloway Cut Advisor tool?
Thanks again
You can read what we think of the tool here: https://www.diamonds.pro/education/holloway-cut-adviser/.
As we get more and more questions about it, Mike wrote a review.
Great thank you so much!!
