Q&A: Selecting a 1.5 Radiant or Cushion Cut Diamond for a White Gold Setting with a $15k Budget

The site is awesome and I have learned a ton so far, but think I need the opinion of a true professional. I am looking for a ring, I know I want a white gold setting something similar to this one (Blue Nile Petite Cathedral Pavé Diamond Engagement Ring)

Now where the confusion begins, the budget is up to 15k, but after reading your site I was always looking at colorless diamonds and find myself constantly going back to them. I know you’ve said people can’t tell the difference but after looking at them on James Allen I keep find myself being drawn to the colorless options. I will send you a couple of what I have found. Your opinion and alternate options would be greatly appreciated.

If you copy the whole link the 6 show up. I guess my concern after reading how important you say color is for cushion are the two I colored ones not going to look as good as the higher colored stones? What’s the most bang for my buck on that list in your professional opinion including things like fluorescence. I appreciate the help!
