Looking to replace my wife’s wedding ring (.6 ct. diamond) with a 1 ct. either HOF or BGD diamond of similar quality.
My concern is buying w/o seeing at BGD and I can walk into my local jeweler and see and touch the HOF diamonds.
What guarantee, warranty, when work or adjustments need to be made do I have with an on line dealer? I know there can be a big price difference, but quality service is worth something too?
Thanks.
BGD has high-quality videos of their diamond where you can check if the diamond is eye-clean. Brian Gavin is known as one of the world’s experts when it comes to perfectly cut diamonds. BGD’s Signature diamonds are truly fantastic. They are all incredibly brilliant. So you don’t have to worry about that at all. They will look amazing no matter what.
Any change you may want on the ring, they will be happy to do for you. You can contact them for more information.
I’d be happy to recommend some diamonds for you. If you give me your ballpark budget and tell me what style setting (solitaire, pave/side stones, halo) and metal (yellow gold, white gold, platinum) you’re putting it in, I can start searching.
Do you work for Brian Gavin? I already talked with someone at BGD…
My budget would be for an approx. 1 ct diamond… Round (same look as Hearts on Fire Diamonds). Platinum ring… Simple design no extra bling around the ring… Let the diamond be the center stage and star.
$7500-$9000
Not sure about Hearts and Arrows as I don’t think the arrow or black lines will be something we would like. Also the blue fluorescence is not desirable.
Thanks.
We don’t work for anyone… But we think that BGD is a great choice when you’re looking for something like a HOF diamond.
It’s great that you already spoke to someone there. Does this mean that you would like a diamond from them? I just want to make sure we’re on the same page here.
I need a diamond ring. Thinking platinum ring with approx 1 Ct high clarity and color.
Can you give me an idea what that would cost me please?
Thanks.
With Brian Gavin, you don’t have to aim for the highest color. Because of their perfectly cut diamonds, you can pick out a lower grade and the stone will incredible as well.
If the ring you’re going to put it in is a solitaire style, I would pick a J color easily:

With this diamond, you’d get an amazing appearance and size for a beautiful price. It’s eye-clean, so you won’t see any inclusions in it.
Or here is a larger diamond in higher color:
