Q&A: Searching for a 1.7 Ct. Round Diamond for a White Gold Pave Setting with a $12k - $13k Budget

I am looking for a round brilliant in the 12000 range. If there is something spectacular, I can go a bit higher. I have 2300 credit through Blue Nile but I am not married to that company for this purchase. Size I would prefer to be around 1.7 ct and the cut needs to be Ideal. Setting will be something similar to this in white gold and platinum (I will have it custom made)
