Hello, I’m looking to buy a heart shaped diamond solitaire ring. I’m in the UK (London), but am happy to buy online from James Allen. It seems that due to the relative rarity of the heart shaped stones, I’ll get a better selection online.
Size: I was originally looking to buy around 0.3 carat but have been advised not to go below 0.5 as the shape definition will be lost below that size. 0.5 would be probably largest I would go.
Setting: I would like a simple yellow gold comfort tapered setting.
Colour: I’m happy with a slightly warm tone although I don’t want it to look too yellow.
Clarity: I do not want any visible to the eye flaws but I know that the effect of flaws depends on where it is located on the stone.
Budget: Maximum $1800 USD for the stone.
I would really appreciate your recommendations of stones currently available on the James Allen website, as i’m looking to buy within the next week or so.

Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate your advice and service. Budget is around GBP £1800 for everything which I calculated as £1500 for the ring and £300 for VAT. Am happy with a 14k rather than 18k gold setting to save a bit of money there.
