I’m looking for a pear shaped diamond to fit a pave bail pentant setting https://www.jamesallen.com/pendants/design-your-own-pendant/18k-white-gold-pave-bail-pendant-setting-item-17152?a_aid=dmnd1357 in rose gold (they told us they could make it in rose gold).
I’m a fan of James Allen where I got a ring for my 30th birthday. When we picked out the diamond for my ring we picked almost the best of the best (Colour: D, Cut: Treue heart, Clarity: VVS2 and so on).
From what I’ve understood from reading about pear shaped diamonds, all of that is waste of money. And so now I could really need some help picking out few diamonds to choose from. Budget for the stone: maximum 2000 usd.
I’m not sure which size to go for either, I don’t want the pendant to take all the attention away from the actual diamond…
