We are literally ready to move forward on this ring TODAY if the experts (you all!) say it’s a good deal 🙂 3.03 cushion modified brilliant diamond — L color, VS2 clarity with excellent polish, very good symmetry and no fluorescence (8.38 X 7.64 X 5.30 mm). Already set in a white gold band with trillions on each side.
No info on those stones since I really only care about the center stone (ha!). Price quoted for the engagement ring with two pave diamond ring bands for top/bottom is $22,000. I am not thrilled about the L color but if you all say that it really doesn’t matter and it’s a great buy, I just might end up with one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen!! THX so much and look forward to hearing back no matter what the answer is…
Is the center stone GIA or AGS certified? If so, I’d need to see the report to give you my opinion.
As for the color, if you don’t mind it and you like the way it looks, it’s all good.

It is GIA certified and I will send paperwork to you tomorrow from my laptop as I am not as savy from my iPad as a regular computer.
Right after I sent my initial email, I realized here is what is up: We have the male saying, “Love it. Great price, fits in budget, looks awesome – let’s buy it.” Female is saying, “Love it. Price seems high for that color stone. Could we find something better. First time looking together. Should we double check the specs first. Is this really worth this amount of money. Etc. etc. etc.” Am sure you get it!

The price is a bit high, that’s true. I just did a quick search and found a 3.01ct K VVS1 cushion for 16k:

The color is better, the clarity is higher and the price is much lower. Even if you count in the setting price, you still end up paying less than 22k.
I’ll check the diamond in question once you send me the report.

It looks like a nice diamond as well. But looking at the measurements and the price, the K color one I sent you in my previous email looks like a much better choice.
