Hello, I am looking to get a classic engagement ring for my partner. I’m looking for a simple white gold solitaire setting (similar to the Tiffany style setting), and a round brilliant cut diamond, anything 0.8 ct and above. My budget is roughly USD $3,500.
I have mainly been browsing on James Allen and did have my eye on this particular diamond but it is out of my price range (it appears it is no longer available as well):

I looked at the diamond you found and thank God someone else got to it first! It has strong fluorescence which is a BIG problem on an H color. It usually causes haziness: https://www.diamonds.pro/education/fluorescence/.
Let’s focus on a better alternative with not red flags.
For a simple solitaire setting, you can easily drop in color to an I or a J and it’ll still look beautiful.
