I wanted to get your thoughts on the two diamonds below. My primary concern is whether a K color diamond will look good in a platinum solitaire setting? If not would it be worth paying more for a J or I?

Thank you so much.
Both of the diamonds you sent me are very well cut and eye-clean. However, K color is too low for a platinum solitaire setting (I’d only recommend it for a YG solitaire). There would be warmish feel to it. Moreover, the 2.01ct has faint brown color grade, which is an absolute deal breaker. You should stick with a J color to be on the safe side.
I’d be happy to find you a better alternative. What is your ballpark budget for the purchase?
Thanks so much for the advice! I’m trying to spend less than 13,000.
Thanks for the clarification.
I love this diamond for you:

The cut is great on it, it’s eye-clean and it’ll look fantastic in any solitaire setting you choose.
What do you think?
I think this will be perfect! Thank you so much for your help. You and diamonds.pro have made this a much less stressful process for me.
My pleasure, I’m glad I could help you decide on the diamond. If you could let me know how it looks in person, I’d appreciate it.
