I am looking for a round diamond to have set in a platinum bezel setting:

The closer I could stay to $1000 for the diamond, the better, but I could probably stretch the budget a bit if I needed to. Do you have any diamonds you would recommend for this setting?

I like the look of that one, but was honestly hoping for something with a small included imperfection around the peripheral of the stone. With the bezel style ring, I figured if I could find a stone with a small imperfection on the periphery, it could likely be covered by the bezel and I could get an otherwise clearer/larger stone for the money.
I would appreciate your thoughts and any stones that may fit this description.

Because you’re using a halo setting in PT now, you have to increase the color to H+. This is the best diamond I could find within ~1k:
