First of all I’d like to thank you for your wonderfully informative website. I am looking to buy a round diamond for a solitaire setting. My requirements are simple, I’d like it to be as big and sparkly as possible, while maintaining “eye-clean” status. My budget is about $10,000 to $12,000 USD for the diamond. Could you please give me some suggestions?

For the setting, I was thinking a white gold solitaire setting, I think this is the least messy and really shows off the diamond to maximum potential, but I am open to listen to your expertise if you have any other recommendations.
