I am looking to replace about a 33 point diamond in my wife’s ring with something bigger. It’s a solitaire gold setting so from what I read here K color should be adequate? I don’t want to spend more than 3500 but less would make it easier to get something additional. What do you think of these two?

We went recently to a local jewelry store that was advertising a going out of business sale. The sale price of a .92 diamond was $5300. It was heavily included and just looked dirty throughout. I have no idea of the cut, because one look and we were gone.
As I looked over some offerings from discount chains like Sams I noticed that they usually would give carat weight, color, and clarity but replaced cut grade with shape. A little bit sneaky.
Thanks for educating me on the importance of cut and not spending money on things that won’t matter like color grade or excessive clarity. I asked my wife when the diamond came in, if it looked yellow to her. “No, it’s beautiful.”
