Q&A: Looking for a Princess or Cushion Cut Diamond for a White Gold Bypass Ring With a $4k Total Budget

I’ve previously used this website before to look at BlueNile rings/diamonds but I’ve just found a setting at Ritani that I love and wanted to get your advice on a diamond.

The setting on Ritani has SKU: 1PCZ2490CR14wg and the diamond I’ve currently selected is SKU: D-J7MNQ8. I wanted to know your thoughts on the quality of the diamond.

I’d like a princess cut diamond and given that the setting will be white gold, I know that the color is important so as to not show any yellow. I’d also like it to be around 1 carat (a little above or below is fine). My budget total is $4,000 and the setting is $1,280 so I’m looking for a diamond in the <$2,800 range. The one I have now is slightly above that range so I have a bit of flexibility. Are there other diamonds you think might be better?

I’m still not totally sold on princess cut over cushion, do you think you might be able to point me towards some nice cushion diamonds as well? The price range again for the diamond is $2800 and under if possible though if you guys have any Ritani discounts that range could move up towards $3,000. Thank you so much for your help!

Thanks for the input. That diamond looks great and I have contacted them directly about a potential discount. I do think that I might pull the trigger soon on this ring (just have to make sure I get the appropriate size) so what do I have to do in order to refer you? Does Ritani have a channel for doing so?
