Your site is great and I was wondering if you could help me find a princess cut diamond around 1 ct (pls minus 0.1) for a maximum USD 4500. I am looking for best value for money, from a naked eye perspective. My fiance is not picky on the technical details but would like to have a brilliant diamond ring that would sparkle and fire, perfectly square, eye-clean, big, etc.
The diamond will be on a ring setting similar to the attached picture. There would be a wedding band next to the ring of a same diamond size of the pave stones in the ring in the picture.
I would appreciate your personal recommendations.
Also, as I would be buying the loose diamond online and then go to a diamond shop and have it mounted on the ring setting I shared. Do you have any tips or comments for the ring setting or the mounting procedure.
Thank you.
I’m sorry, but I don’t see any pictures attached. However, you can easily get a nice 1ct. I really recommend these for you:

What do you think?
Thanks for your reply. Thanks for the recommendations, both diamonds seem to fit criteria.
I have the following questions:
1- I was told that the more equal the length and width are in a princess cut, the more the brialliance of the sparkling. What’s your view? As both diamonds you recommended are around 1.04 ratio.
2- What’s the girdle effect on the choice? Or is it not a big deal?
3- If you are to rank the two you shared in addition to this one below from 1-3 (1 being first choice) what would be your ranking?
Thank you.
1) L:W does matter, but the important thing is to make sure that it falls into the ‘square-modified’ range.
2) If anything, you should move away from thin (so long as its not extremely thick).
3) I would rank the 1.03 as the top choice. The most important factor in choosing that one is the best depth % of the the three.
