Q&A: Looking for Small Round Brilliant Cut

I am currently looking for a diamond ring (solitaire) for my proposal to my girlfriend. I don’t have as much budget, around USD 1,500.00/USD2,000.00 including the set up and VAT (I am based in the UK). I would prefer titanium for the set up but if too expensive, it would be 24 ct white gold.

Would you please help me to find a diamond that fit to my requirements given my budget, i.e.:
– a decent size for her physiology (she is quite petite 5’3″, 127.9 pounds and ring size is K in the UK or 5 1/4 in the US).
– an eye clean diamond (I am thinking of SI1+)
– eye colorless (undestand I would be nice to have I colour)
– Very good cut
– GIA certified

Would a 0.4 ct be a correct size for her physiology? Note that she is not much interested to have the biggest diamond as she is a fussy type of girl. A discret one in term of size but very good quality would fit.

If I wanted to upgrade but not the carat, what would you suggest to upgrade, color? clarity?
