I have been looking on Blue Nile and James Allen. I like the feature that I am able to look at the diamonds, the problem is that I don’t really know what to look for. I was hoping for some help in finding the best diamond for what I am looking for.
I am looking for a solitaire ring so just need the one stone to be great because it will be the focal point. I want a cushion cut diamond, hoping to find a ring that is around 1.5 carats.
Would you like to have a square cushion or is a rectangular one OK as well?
Also, can you please give me your ballpark figure of what you’re looking to spend?
would like to have a square cushion cut. The carat size isn’t super important, but I am looking for a diamond that looks as big as possible while still having great quality.
And the max I want to spend is $7,000. Would love it if I could find one for $5,500 or $6,000 but am willing to go up to $7,000.
Thank you!
Thanks for the info.
I found a few diamonds that I really liked:

All of them are beautiful and eye-clean and will look very bright and brilliant.
Check them out and let me know what you think.
Thank you so much for the help! I will have a tough time deciding which one will look best in the setting.
I noticed that the second one is already gone. If you’d like a piece of mind, out of the two remaining, I’d go with the JA one (the first link) only because it looks very similar to the one from BN, but it’s slightly better priced.
The first one is the one I was leaning towards. I just emailed JA about the diamond and customizing the setting. Thank you for all your help!
That’s excellent! It was my pleasure helping you.
Of course!!
