I am looking for a 1.0+ carat engagement ring with a round or princess cut in a Tiffany style or pave setting (white gold or platinum). I need the ring very soon, so I am checking Blue Nile as they seem to have the fastest shipping.
What do you think of these diamonds:

Ideally, I do not want to spend over $10,000.

Its cert says “clarity grade based on clouds not shown.” This means there is a very large cloud that covers a large percentage of the diamond and saps the brilliance from it. You should never buy a diamond with this note.

This one is not the best option either. Medium fluorescence might make it look hazy/milky. Also, I’m not a fan of its cut. It’s a bit too deep and will be less brilliant.
Here’s a better alternative:
Blue Nile LD11414474
It’s beautifully cut and will have a lot of brilliance.
What do you think?
I ended up purchasing this one: Blue Nile LD00015671
Good choice?
The diamond you went with was a fantastic choice, it’s beautifully cut. Let me know how you like it when you receive it.
Will do, thanks!
