Q&A: Looking for a 2 Ct. Asscher Cut Diamond for a Solitaire Setting with a $9-$12k Budget

My budget is between 9k and 12k (the lower the better obviously). I’m looking for an asscher cut diamond that I plan to have in a solitare setting (no side stones) in white gold. I’m hoping for a 2.0 carat diamond – more carats are great but I really don’t want to drop below 1.9 carats. 

I’m sorry, but the diamonds I’d recommend are above your budget. I would recommend sticking with an H+ for an asscher that size. Thos will cost you over 14/15k. 

No problem. I don’t mind the warmth that the I or J color brings – I don’t like really white diamonds, some of the higher colors look too fake to me.
