Hi, I LOVE your site, I have learned so much about diamond shopping! I’m so glad I found it before I made a purchase!
I’m looking for an asscher under $5,000, min 1ct and as big as I can afford. The setting I plan on purchasing is 18k white gold with small baguettes. Something like this.

Thank you so much!
I think this is your best bet:
Its a truly spectacular cut, bright, eye-clean and a great value. I saw a few others, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the depth%. The next best option is over budget:

Even though its a higher color, I prefer the cut on the H VS1. So its the better choice and about 15% cheaper.
What do you think?
Well isn’t that funny, that’s the exact stone I had been looking at before I contacted you. Good to know my first choice was a good one. I’ve gone ahead and ordered it.
Thanks for your help!
Sounds great. Let me know how it looks when it arrives.
