I’m looking for a RB between 1.4-1.5 carat, vs2-si1, h-j color, ideal to very good cut, eye clean on a white gold solitaire for around $9,000. Looking around I think a 1.4 carat is realistic at that price and specs. Is it possible?
If you could recommend a few diamonds or ideals I would be greatful.
Here are some diamonds I’d recommend for you:

Personally I’d go with the I color considering the size, but they are all great options. What do you think?
Thank you for the quick reply. I like the one you suggested, but would it make much difference if I moved my price up to $10,000? Am I at the low end at $9,000 for the diamond? ( when you look at the enlarged photo the flaws seem so noticeable but I guess I won’t seem them with the naked eye, right? ) If you think it’s a noticeable difference which ones would you suggest. If not and you still think the first I color diamond is best I’ll get that one. Thanks!
I’d go with this one if you want to spend more:
Thank you. I not sure if you mean I should get this one www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.50-carat-i-color-si1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-208510?a_aid=dmnd1357
over the first one you suggested www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.40-carat-i-color-si1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-229709?a_aid=dmnd1357
I assume they are all eye clean and the only real difference is the size to the naked eye? ( i.e. 1K more for the .1 carat increase? )
Which one would you get? I’ll buy the one which you think is best.
Thank you for all of your help!
You have it right. They are the two best choices. Its up to you how much you want to spend.
I’m on your side for this. I’d save the money. But your partner may have different ideas. 🙂
Thanks!
Got the diamond on hold. Just got to figure out the ring now!
Thanks again.
Let me know how it looks when it arrives.
