Firstly, thank you for the information on this site, it has been invaluable in teaching me about diamonds. There’s so much choice but I hoped to get your opinion/ recommendation on the following:
1) Max budget for the diamond is £2,700 (approx $4,100)
2) Platinum setting
3) Solitaire style diamond
Ideally I was thinking around the H/I colour, either a VS2 or SI1 clarity, 0.75 or higher carat with a > good cut. That criteria seems to hit the budget quite well. What do you think?

I can’t comment on a diamond without seeing if its eye-clean or not (no way to tell on 77diamonds). That said, look for a diamond with a lower depth% (under 62.5)

It just seems like a better value (along with the piece of mind that you’ve actually seen the diamond).
