Q&A: Looking for a 0.5 Ct. or Larger Round Diamond for White Gold Solitaire Setting Under $2k

Hi, first of all, this is a great site. Thank you for putting up such useful information.

I have chosen the ring, a solitaire white gold,

I now just need to find a diamond so that I could have it made a shipping by James Allen, and was hoping might be able to help me chose one?

My budget for just the diamond is 1.5 – 1.6k usd.
I have seen a stunning ring in a shop with the following characteristics 0.54 ct, F, si1 (6600 usd!!). So something like this, but maybe a few ct bigger if possible??

I hope I am not being too cheeky, but I would really appreciate a quick reply if possible, I am hoping to order this today/tomorrow.

I have gone for the 0.55ct rather than the 0.61. I appreciate the cut of the 0.61 – it really looks great, but prefer to go with 0.55 for the colour and didnt want to go with any fluorescence.
