I’ve been browsing your website for a few days now and I already feel much more confident shopping for diamonds– Thank you!
My budget is 10-12k and I’d like to place a round diamond in a white gold setting that has blue sapphires on each side similar to this setting:
Do I need to take any extra considerations when choosing a diamond with regards to color, since it will be next to the blue gemstones? It’d be nice to go down a couple steps on the color due to the blue stones and put the savings into a larger diamond :). I would like at least a 1.5 carat diamond.
She is very attracted to the “sparkly” diamonds we see in the store windows, is there a big, noticeable difference between the ideal and very good cuts?
Any suggestions and help are greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!
With that setting, I’d stick with I+ on the center diamond. I love this for you:

It’s bright, eye-clean and a great value.
Thanks for the quick reply. Thanks for your help, and a great, educational website!
My pleasure.
