I’m looking for a halo setting and a cushion cut diamond. I found one on James Allen: SKU of setting is 17086W14 and diamond SKU is 1058794. The GIA report says the fluorescence is “strong blue”, but I’m not sure what that means. My question is will that clash with the halo setting?
Thank you for your help.
We don’t recommend strong fluorescence on a G color stone since the diamond can appear hazy. You can read more here: https://www.diamonds.pro/education/fluorescence/
I found this diamond for you:
It’s very well cut, eye-clean and it’s going to appear colorless in the setting you like. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/color/
Let me know what you think.
Thanks! It looks great. One tiny concern is that spec on the table. It is so small, it shouldn’t be visible by the naked eye unless seen close-up?
Thanks.
You don’t need to worry about that one, it’s not going to be visible to the naked eye.

I waited too long and it looks like someone beat me to that diamond. I really liked it too. Any other suggestions?
