Do you still have Blue Nile coupons available? Also I am looking for a larger diamond probably 4 carats at a good value. I am thinking about princess, cushion or asscher cut. From the 3 of these styles is there one that your would recommend more for this size of stone? Any trustworthy vendor recommendations as well?
Thanks!

However, it’s for $100 off, which, given the stone size you are interested in, I’m not sure is much helpful.
I would not recommend a princess cut for that size. Being perfectly honest, it’s not a very popular cut for larger, more elegant rings. I would recommend sticking with asscher or cushion cuts. Deciding between the two will be based on your personal preference. Cushion cuts will have a sharper, more brilliant look while asschers will have a more understated elegant look.
I’d be happy to find some specific diamonds to recommend for you. What is your ballpark budget and where are you located? That will help me refine the search as I reach out to all our contacts.
Okay great, thank you. I am in California just north of LA.
I have a friend that has a big classic solitaire and I don’t like the look as it sits very high on finger. Not sure if cushion does same. I have an asscher eternity band and I like the look.
I want it to look elegant but not crazy crazy noticeable, which is why I am shying from solitaire.
Budget is somewhat flex but I was on Blue Nile looking at stones that ranged from 45k-80ish. I know that is a big range but it really depends on the stone. I want a really good cut, but willing to sacrifice some on color, would prefer not to have noticeable inclusions. And was not sure how much asschers show these vs other stones (plus they seemed a bit harder to find on site). Doesn’t have to be perfect but needs to be really pretty.
Will take any help I can get!
I understand. Thanks for the info.
I found a few possibilities. Here are some cushions and asschers:
Blue Nile LD05889818
(Ask BN for the actual photo so we know how it looks. But it seems to be the best option possible given the size.)
www.ritani.com/diamonds/cushion-diamond-4-01-Carat-H-color-GIA-certified/D-Q5NQN6
Blue Nile LD07693993
(Again, ask for its photo. It has an inclusion on the table that may or may not be visible. It’s better to be sure.)
Let me know what you think of these.
