Budget is 13000-15000. hoping to get a 2ct round excellent cut stone.
If you tell me what style of setting (solitaire, halo, pave or other) and metal (platinum/white or yellow gold) you’re looking for, I’ll be happy to help you with the search. This information influences my search for a diamond, too.
Either solitaire/pave.. I’m OK with any metal as long as it makes the stone looks whiter.. For my budget i guess i will be getting a I color stone?
Yes, I recommend an I color, since you might choose a pave setting.
I found this diamond for you:
Blue Nile LD07659551
It’s very well cut, eye-clean and going to look colorless.
If you decide for a solitaire setting, I recommend going one color grade down:

Let me know what you think.
I think I will be getting this setting (www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/wedding-sets/18k-white-gold-six-prong-wire-basket-engagement-ring-017ct-pave-set-wedding-ring-item-5318?a_aid=dmnd1357)
So can you recommend a diamond that will look whiter on that? I did some searching and found this stone… Do you think that’s a good one?

Thank you for the information.
We don’t recommend purchasing diamonds with IGI certificate. You can choose a stone with a GIA or AGS cert (these are legitimate laboratories).

The strong fluorescence on an I color diamond is also an issue. It can cause a hazy appearance: https://www.diamonds.pro/education/fluorescence/.
This diamond slightly stretches the clarity grade but I think it’s eye-clean.

It’s beautifully cut and the color is perfect for the setting you like. (The band is pave, that’s why I still recommend an I color center stone).
What do you think?
Thanks for the recommendation. I changed my mind, i will be getting the same bridal setting but i prefer yellow gold instead. will that make any difference?
Thank you for the information. I’d stick with an I color diamond. This will ensure that the center stone will look colorless in comparison to the small diamonds on the wedding band.
