First off, thanks for the info about the Blue Nile business model. I had a friend who is a very satisfied Blue Nile customer give me a recommendation to check them out. It seems like there’s a chance to get a good deal, but, in a purchase like this, chance should never be part of the equation!
I’m looking for a 1.2+ Carat diamond on a 9-10k budget. I’m deciding between a solitaire white gold or platinum setting, but I know the diamond will be the only stone on the setting I choose.
I’ve looked at a couple on JA, and was interested in your thoughts:
Look forward to hearing from you.
It seems like you have this diamond buying process down pat. I love the 1.32ct diamond you selected. It’s eye-clean, and a far better value.
Let me know how it looks when it arrives.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
I’m also looking into an estate ring (my grandmother passed away last year, and something with a family history to it is truly priceless in my opinion), so buying a new diamond is on hold, currently.
Regardless of my decision, you guys will get a pretty good rank & review from me.
And, if my grandmother’s ring is not available (I’m 1 of 7 grandchildren…), I may be sending you another link.
Sounds good. If you like it, Grandma’s ring is definitely the way to go.
