Hi Diamond Pro, my girlfriend and I are looking at engagement rings right now. She found james allen and seems to be happy with the reviews etc, as well your website. There’s such a plethora of choices, we were a bit overwhelmed by what exact diamond to get. We were encouraged by the reviews for your site as well, so I wanted to see what diamond you would recommend.
For a setting, she liked the halo, so I was thinking of this:
18K WHITE GOLD PAVE HALO AND SHANK DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING (ROUND CENTER)

My planned overall budget is $5000, so probably $3.5k to $4k for the diamond itself.
For the diamond, she liked a colorless, round cut, between 0.75 to 0.95 carat. Beyond that, we’re not sure how to choose from the many options.

I’d recommend 14k white gold. It’s cheaper and more durable than 18k.

These diamond are well cut, eye-clean and bright. The inclusions on the edge on the 0.90ct shouldn’t be an issue at all. If they put a prong over it, it won’t be even visible. You can contact James Allen and ask them to get it inspected by their gemologists. They should tell you if it’s doable.
Either of those will be very brilliant in the setting you picked.

Thanks! I think I agree with you about the 14k vs 18k. She uses her hands a fair amount at work so a more durable ring will probably be better.
Regarding the 0.9c diamond, I did talk with a gemologist there. They said it would doable.
