Hi, my fiance and I are trying to find the best engagement and wedding bands for us. I’ve read a lot about your helpful articles in this website and I want to thank you because it’s really useful. Although I’ve read a lot about diamonds, I really need your help so we can make the right decision. I’m kind of confused! We are looking for something nice but not very expensive because we are on a budget (as most of the people, I guess) Well, I want a .45 or .50 round diamond ring. I don’t know how can we get for 1,500 dlls. We don’t want to spend more than that but still want to buy a nice ring.
Please, help us! I’ve been searching for diamonds in James Allen, Blue Nile and Brian Gavin Diamonds. I know the cut is very important but I still don’t know if we can spend more money on the clarity too but then we will have to sacrifice the color. My mind is confused so please I ask for your help and suggestions.
I’d be happy to make some recommendations and guide you through the process. What type of setting are you considering? Yellow gold or white gold/platinum? Will it be a solitaire or does it have sidestones/pave? This may affect the colors that I recommend for the center diamond (as we explain in our post on color).
