I love your site! I’m looking for a diamond for an engagement ring.
Here are my parameters:
At least 0.5 carat
At most $1,500 for the diamond
Round shaped
I’m going with either white gold or platinum setting
I like the color to be colorless to the eye
Ideal cut
Also I don’t want any visible flaws in the diamond

Thanks for writing! Those are all really nice options you suggested. I would recommend that you reject the J color stone off the bat. Out of what’s left, I have to say that the H VS2 really does look incredible, but this stone:
