Hello! My husband and I are upgrading my engagement ring and are trying to find a good value in our purchase. We are searching for a center stone to go into this platinum setting: http://www.pennypreville.com/collection/bridal-collection/engagement-rings/juliet
We are open to anywhere from .85 – 1.00 carat weight, and are trying to find something for under $4500. I know this is a tall order so that’s why I was excited to see that you may be able to help!
What do you think — is this possible with getting a beautiful diamond? With the research we’ve done at the jeweler making the ring, we have liked the look of SI1 and above, and are open to going down to H in color. The stones set into the ring setting are G, I believe.
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions you may have!
I just want to make sure we are on the same page. You are looking for a round diamond, correct? Sometimes people send links of settings but plan on customizing it a bit.
My apologies. Yes, I am looking for a round diamond.
What do you think of this diamond?
Its bright, eye-clean and a great value. What do you think?
That one is definitely an option. I am curious, if we can go to just over $5K, like up to $5300 or so, would a G be an option?
We strongly recommend not wasting money going higher than H color. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/color/
