So I am looking to buy a ring for the woman I want to marry. I went to James Allen looking at rings, I found a setting i like. Even after reading over forums and this page. I still feel lost to the aspects of diamonds. I’ve found I like how cushion cuts look but not sure what I would look for in a diamond. This might be a vague message but I hope that makes sense. If I had 1500 to spend on a diamond what would be a good choice in color an size. Would it be a good idea to go with single stone setting in this case.. I’ll answer more questions just trying to put my foot on the right path here. Thanks for your time.
I’m happy to help. Can you link to the setting you like?
There is the setting.
There is the diamond I was looking at. It seems “eye clean” but I am sure you can tell me for sure. Thanks for your time.
That diamond is fantastic. Not only is it eye-clean, but it is superbly cut. You can ask JA if they can customize the setting with a yellow basket. That will enhance the color.
Awesome, thanks for the advice. I think I going to take you up on that and see if they will make that happen.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to review that diamond for me. It meant a lot to me and I’m sure it will mean a lot to her when she sees it.
No problem. Please let me know how things work out.
