Q&A: Help Finding a Round Center With Around $2k Budget Including Shipping to Europe

Hi. I am looking for a round diamond for a yellow gold ring. I am quite flexible on the specs but the diamond must not have visible defects. I am looking for the largest possible diamond to max USD 2000 including tax/shipping and all other costs to Northern Europe (Denmark).

The diamond will be in a yellow gold ring and it needs to be very practical and functional since I am going to wear it everyday with all the daily tasks. I reckon a setting like the one in the middle in the below picture is the one I will go for. The ring itself will be much thicker than below picture but setting very similar.

I would like as big diamond as possible in diameter and we are willing not to go for the best specs in color etc., but it still needs to be reasonable.

I need the price including tax and shipping – total cost price – no added costs afterwards. Do you have input enough for me to search the market?

Sorry – yes there was a picture enclosed. The setting should be very similar to below picture (I try once more). The ring itself should not be twisted but just straight – not narrow but quite wide.

I would like the diamond to be a little bigger. What is the best price you can find an aprox 0,8 ct at? Just need to be sure of a few things:
1) Will I pay the VAT direct to danish authorities when the diamond arrives to me?
2) Does the price include shipping?
3) The link you forwarded with settings is not bezel settings?
4) Just for me to be sure – when I found a jewelry in Denmark which is going to make the ring, he will also make the setting right? I just buy the diamond nothing else?

Thank you for the suggestion and explanation. This is the size of diamond I am looking for – but unfortunately the price is too high for my budget. Is there any change to find another diamond for less or ask BN if they can do anything about the price of the suggested diamond.

I am willing to move some of my first budget, but I cannot go up to the price stated at the moment.
