Hello, I am looking for a pair of diamond stud earring for my fiance.
I bought a pair of earrings from Jared that I plan on returning tomorrow, it was an impulse purchase and I feel like I was taken advantage of and I didn’t do my research beforehand.
I would like at least 3/4 carat white gold, I think screw backs would be the best because she is an ER nurse and anything other would fall out. Budget would be $1500 but can be flexible if need be. I would really love for them to really shine and be eye clean and white. The earrings I purchased were certified by GSI and from what I have read they aren’t very reliable which rated these near colorless G-H I1 good good.
Any help would greatly be appreciated, I am so out of my depth.

Hi, thanks for the response and for the suggestions.
I looked at the stones that you recommended and I have a question. How noticeable will the cloudiness be in the stones? Both have clarity characteristics listed with cloud and one with cloud pinpoint and crystal and this is all Greek to me so I defer to your expertise.
I of course have no issue with your being compensated for this advice and my email is the same with my account with blue Nile. I will purchase the stones today (either these or others) upon your response and return the earrings to Jared tomorrow. Blue Nile does not offer screw back earring settings so I cannot get them set there, anything other than screw back is a deal breaker for me as I stated my fiance is a trauma ER nurse and they would get lost pretty easily while she is working.

The diamonds are VS1 so you don’t have to worry about those clarity characteristics, it won’t affect their brilliance in any way.
In regards to the setting, I suggest asking Blue Nile custom service if, by any chance, they can make the screw back setting for you. It’s usually doable for a small fee. Let me know how it goes.
