I am looking for diamond studs online. Approx .75 – .80 tcw. F-I color. Ideal cut. VS1 to SI1. I would love to keep it under $1400 but could go to $1500. Your article is very helpful. Can you help me find a great pair?

Thanks, is it better to sacrifice color for clarity? I see you picked I color and vvs2 clarity. I had been toying with getting better color and sacrificing a bit on clarity. Any thoughts? Since we are talking about earrings, there is a bit more flexibility, yes? I found a pair for $1267.00 with H color and SI2 clarity.

On another note, my earrings arrive this Wednesday and I am super excited. I had one question purely out of curiosity. Why did you choose to create your own pair as opposed to choosing one of the pre-made pairs? This is truly the most extravagant thing I have ever purchased so anything you can share is awesome.

The earrings were beautiful but I decided to exchange them. They looked too close in size to my pair that is .54 tcw. This is my mistake. I have selected another pair from Blue Nile that have a bigger diameter.

If you have any time and the inclination to look through their stock that would be amazing. I am looking at pairs that are between 4.80 and 4.90 mm with a total cost including backings under $1700.
