Have you any thoughts on purchases through ice.com – can you point me to a review on your site.
I’m looking at this ring, can you recommend a better value elsewhere?
That is in terms of the main ring (with three stones).
Thank you for your help.
……
I had written another question previously, an inquiry about ice.com – I was wondering if it was worthwhile to get a small set of stones with higher quality or larger stones with lesser quality?

(Note that the BN diamond here is a comparable alternative to the one that was here before because that company no longer exists.)
I’m looking for a center stone for a three stone (part of a bridal set) – this link I believe has located: .24 ct, D, IF, Excellent cut.
What do you recommend? Thank you.
The diamond ring from ice.com doesn’t have any legit certificate (GIA or AGS) so there’s no way for me to comment on it.
The stone from Blue Nile is beautiful. But as you mentioned, I’d recommend going down with the color and clarity grade. An H color stone is going to look colorless in any style of settings and going down with clarity grade saves you money, too.

Do I understand it correctly that you’re looking for a three stone setting in yellow gold. Can you tell me what your approximate budget is? Then I’ll be happy to help you with the search.
Thank you for your prompt reply. Diamond Pro’s service is unbeatable price and helpwise.
I’m very simple, and so is my girlfriend. With this in mind we prefer a simple ring with small sized stones that are higher priced for value. In this sense we are quite different than the average shopper.
.26ct with .15ct side stones?
So yes, a three-stone with yellow 18k Gold, with a matching band (bridal set). Budget is C$5K. Thank you.
I understand. I also found one more diamond for you:

It’s beautifully cut, G color is high and colorless and VVS2 clarity grade insures eye-cleanliness. The stone is going to refract light with high brilliance and fire.
Blue Nile have offices in Canada so everything will be easier for you in terms of repairs and returns.
What do you think?
That’s a nice looking stone. Can you tell me whether a stone with the clarity you have shown me – VVS2 and G colour as opposed to a IF and D colour, which one is a better investment over time?
Thank you again.
Neither of them are good investments. While its possible that a D IF may appreciate in value more over time, that is not a given. Add in the fact that your cost basis is much higher and it makes no sense to worry about that now:

OK, that’s good to know. I thought I might exchange the diamond for a slightly larger one in future for an anniversary.
The links you sent are helpful. I’ll get back to you. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Also, would you recommend an online vendor for three-stone 18k yellow gold ring?
Should I also go with Blue Nile?
Yes, if you like any of their settings, Blue Nile is a great way to go.
