I have been searching for a 1.9-2.05 carat yellow in color diamond. I do not want it to be a vivid yellow, more of a pale yellow-brown color.
Overall I would like the diamond to have a nice yellow or soft brown/champagne color with a great reflection to it. Kind of like www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/cushion-cut/1.91-carat-k-color-si2-clarity-sku-3336407?a_aid=dmnd1357
My max price is around $6,000, I have found a few diamonds that look like they meet all my criteria but I do not know what all the extra numbers really mean.
Thank you, and I hope that you can help me!
You can send me the options you found and I will check them out for you.
The one you sent me looks great, but it’s not eye-clean
I have not really found a lot of loose diamonds to compare. Most of the ones I find are on Ebay and are no longer available.
Those 3 yellows are from James Allen but I don’t really like the look of them as you watch the 360.
This one is WAYYY out of my price range but I love the color of it and I think it would look great with my Tri-tone gold setting.
From what I can see, you prefer the diamond to be visibly brown.
How about something like this?

I do like brown colored diamonds but a light brown- almost like a caramel/champagne color.
I like those and a medium to light yellow. I do not like the vivid yellows.
I understand. I also found this one:

That diamond is nice but too large. My setting can only fit up to a 2.03 carat.
It’s not very easy to find something within the color you want and keep it between 1.90-2ct.
Maybe something smaller would work too?

I’m looking everywhere, but can’t seem to find any fit.
But if you’re not opposed to the idea of having a K colored cushion (even though it’s a lot lighter in color), it’s a good way as well.
I don’t really have a specific color that I’m looking for.
This one looks beautiful:

Yea the color isn’t a huge deal. I like the light brown champagne look but I also like the pale yellows.
…
How about these?
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/fancy-color/yellow/cushion-cut/1.90-carat-si1-clarity-sku-3209837?a_aid=dmnd1357
I am trying to get as close to 2 carat and potentially a little over for the best price possible.
They all look very nice (except those two K color ones, those aren’t eye-clean. Looking at the cut, these are my favorite ones:

www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/fancy-color/green/cushion-cut/2.01-carat-si2-clarity-sku-1949512?a_aid=dmnd1357
(Even though this one contains three colors, I like the look of it the most. It’s a unique color.)
Ok awesome!! I think later tonight I will go through all of our emails and pick out all the ones you suggested and look at them all together and potentially decide.
Let me know when you have all the final options together or when you pick a winner.
Do you have any idea why this diamond:
would be labeled as an SI1. It looks very eye clean to me like a VS1 or even a VVS2.
Because of the black crystals under the right corner.
Oh ok thank you.
Between these three diamonds, which would you suggest the most:
Thank you!!
I don’t like the cluster of inclusions on the K color one. But from the other two, they both are very nice. Just pick the one you like better. Now it’s about the personal preference.
Thank you!
