Hello,
I’ve been using your website to educate myself about diamonds while searching on jamesallen and bluenile. I’m struggling with knowing if the diamond I want to purchase is really the best one I can buy. If you have some time, would you be able to help me out? Admittedly I get a bit of anxiety with such a large purchase and decision.
I’m looking for a 1.25-1.5 ct round cut between $6k and 7.5k.
One more thing… Can the setting also affect the clarity of the diamond? I’m looking at:

But am wondering if both the Pave style and the ring of diamonds around the base would make inclusions more visible to the naked eye. Am I completely overthinking this?

The setting won’t affect the center stone in any negative way. Don’t worry about that.

Would the H color grade stand out too much in a white gold setting? Would you be able to also recommend some diamonds closer to 1 ct which have a higher color rating?

Why would it stand out? H color looks perfectly colorless in a setting like this. I’ll gladly recommend more options, but they will look identical.
These two have fantastic overall specs.
