I’m looking for a princess/modified brilliant diamond for a necklace. Budget is $7000-9000, weight 1.5-1.75.ct. Current earrings are G-VS1. The ring is E-VS1.
Looking to put it in a double bail, 18-inch necklace.
Thanks.
This is my recommendation from both sites:

They are well cut and either of them will be very brilliant.
What do you think?
Thanks for the reply. I️ have a question concerning color. From a few sites, I️ saw that in white gold, a brilliant shape would be recommended in the color (G-I) range. Although I️ want this to look good with the current jewelry, could I️ get larger by reducing to this range and still look nice?
Also, on James Allen, when I️ look at the magnified image that spins, if I️ see an inclusion at that magnification, is it bad?
Sure, you could drop down to an I and it’d still look colorless. I just wanted to make sure that the new diamond will look the same compared to the diamonds you already have (G and E). An I-color stone might look a bit yellow if you put all of them side by side. If you don’t think that is ever going to happen, I’m happy to recommend some options with a lower grade.
As for the inclusions, it always depends on how severe they are and where they are located. There is no rule.
Sounds good, how about H to split the difference?
Sure. Here you go:

I️ like them both. Would you look at Blue Nile LD08313178 on Blue Nile and tell me what you think about the inclusions? Would these be visible?
Some of the inclusions will be visible. Also, the feather in the top left corner is a concern, it might increase the risk of chipping.
Between 3506022 and 4020532, which is better? I’m hoping to make the decision between these 2 unless you have found a better choice.
I’d go with 3506022. There’s no reason to pay more for something identical.
Placed the order. Thanks for your help.
That’s great news!
If you can also write me back once you receive the ring, that would be great. I’d love to know how you like it in person.
