Your help was very much appreciated in the purchase of a ring a few years ago so here I am back again.
I am looking to purchase a pair of diamond stud earrings. I want the size to be distinctive but not overpowering. I believe something in the range of 1-1.2 TCW makes sense for me.
Located in Canada and am purchasing in Canadian dollars – I think my budget is reasonable (up to $4500- 5000). My bias is to purchase the best possible quality (and obviously wow factor) for the size.
Would very much appreciate some suggestions in the high and low end of my price range.

My tendency would be to lean to the first pair because they are VVS1’s . A couple of questions though:
Why would the the fourth diamond you listed (although it is just slightly bigger, but is SI – be priced higher per carat than the first 2?
Most of the diamond selections for earrings at Blue Nile are already paired for that use – how would i order and have them set?
The SI is slightly higher in carat than the other diamond in the pair. Other than that, there is no difference. Sometimes the SI diamonds are just more expensive for no reason, making VSs a better value.
All you have to do is put them in your cart and call the customer service. Tell them that you want to set these diamonds as earrings. They’ll ask for the order number at the top of your cart and that’s it.
