Hello. I’m currently looking for a round diamond for a yellow gold solitaire setting. Approx 1-1.30 carat.
I currently have one picked out, but I would love any further suggestions/recommendations. My budget is 6-7k.

I wouldn’t go with the diamond you selected. It’s cut a bit too deep and it seems to have a lot of inclusions, I doubt it’s eye-clean. You should never buy an SI diamond without seeing a photo first.
For a yellow gold solitaire setting, you can easily go with a J color and have a beautiful and colorless diamond.

This one happened to be the cheapest eye-clean option I found in the SI+ range. It’s beautifully cut and will be very brilliant.
