Q&A: Help Finding a 1 Ct. Round Diamond for a White Gold Solitaire Setting Within a $5,000 Budget

I’m looking for a round diamond around $5000 for an engagement ring. I’m scouring websites, but I’m afraid I might miss something obvious.

What style setting (solitaire, pave/side stones/halo) and metal (yellow/white gold, platinum) do you want to use? This may affect the colors that I recommend for the center diamond (as we explain in our post on color).
