I’m thinking about buying a .75 carrot diamond signature cut, g color, and vs2 clarity at the price of 4,000 dollars from blue Nile. Is this fair or a rip off?
I searched in the same color/clarity/carat weight range and found a slightly better value:
Blue Nile LD07316021
I wouldn’t recommend buying VS2 diamond without seeing its picture first. It’s better to stick with a higher clarity to be on the safe side.
What do you think?
I think it’s a good deal. I am strongly considering buying it in the next few days. The only question that I have for you is, how much of a difference in quality is a signature diamond cut and an ideal cut. Also, is it worth the 1,000 dollar difference.
Also I am liking the diamond you recommended me for a variety of reasons: first it’s less money, second it has better clarity, and depth.
I’m glad you like it.
Honestly, we ignore the signature ideals from Blue Nile and use our own parameters. Here’s one more diamond that’s fantastically cut and it’s still a much better value than the signature one:
Blue Nile LD07282921
