Could you help me find a 0.5-0.55 carat round diamond below $1000? As long as it’s white and clean to the naked eye. Do you also still have a coupon for $100 off Blue Nile?
Many thanks.
Can you also tell me what style of setting (solitaire, halo, pave or other) and metal (white or yellow gold) you’re going to use? Different settings suit certain colors better. Then I’ll be happy to send you my suggestion.

Thank you.
I’m looking at Blue Nile mostly. I want a solitaire setting, either classic four-prong or low dome four-prong, 14K white gold. My ring size is 4-4.5 so I think a diamond between 0.5-0.6 carat will look the best. I want to keep the cost below $1000 for the diamond if possible.
Thanks a lot.

What do you think about this diamond?
Blue Nile LD08341862
I had it reserved so it shows as not available for purchase on the website but it’s there.
Thanks.
The issue with stone is that there’s cloud listed as the only inclusion on an SI stone. It means that the cloud is going to influence the appearance of the stone in a negative way. That’s why I don’t recommend purchasing it.
Have a look at this one:
Blue Nile LD08203232
It’s slightly over 1k but it’s a 0.54 with great overall specs.
What do you think?
Thank you so much. Your recommendation looks great. I see in the GIA report that it has a strong blue florescence, is this a problem? If not I will go ahead with this one.
Many thanks.
Strong fluorescence on J and lower colors can help the stone look slightly brighter:

I noticed that the stone is not available at the moment. Did you put it on hold?
Yes I did. I will purchase it then.
