Hello, I am looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend and was hoping to run a couple diamonds by you and see if you had any other recommendations. Here is the criteria I have been working with:
Princess Cut
Over 1.5 Ct
Channel setting
Platinum
Diamond budget – $10k

I checked the diamonds and I love the 1.85ct one. It’s perfect. The cut is great on it, it’s eye-clean and it’ll look fantastic in the setting you picked.
If you’d want to go with something slightly cheaper, yet still impressive, I’d recommend this one.

There seems to be something on its table, but it’s not listed in the clarity plot. It might be a hair, so I suggest asking JA about it. They can get it inspected and tell you more. If it’s not an inclusion, then this diamond is a great value. And don’t be fooled by the weight difference; the diamonds have virtually the same proportions and will look identical (https://www.diamonds.pro/education/carat-weight/).
