Hi, First of all I want to thank you for making such a great site, the information I have found here has been far more detailed and understandable than anything else I have found. I also really liked the article about why you run the site., I was wondering why you were doing this until I found that article.
I’m thinking of buying a white gold pendant with a single diamond for my girlfriend, something like this:
She half-jokingly says that she’d be very happy with one carat, and I’ve always thought that was completely out of my price range (I don’t think I’ve seen anything here in Norway under $10 000), but based on your advice I’ve been looking at some lower clarities and colors and have my eye on this diamond:
Based on the examples on your site I imagine it would be eye clean, but as a novice I’m very unsure. Do you think those inclusions would be visible to the naked eye? Thanks for your help!

I kept reading a bit more after sending you the first e-mail and realized that there was a difference between cut,symmetry and polish. I’d only been looking at the “True Hearts” diamonds which seem to be ideal in all three categories, but apparently polish and symmetry are less important?
They are both great. Its up to you if you want to spend more for the size.
