A fan of you webpage. Can stop using the try it on section! Sooo the time to choose the one is coming. Budget 4,000 including the setting. I’m between a solitaire ($357) and a pave setting ($714). I love the pave but the solitaire is less expensive. Based on todays diamonds availability I am down to these 5 options.
Can you give me feedback or recommend something better?
I checked the diamonds you sent over and I’m sorry, but I can’t recommend any of them. They are not eye-clean and are poorly cut. In general, for a round brilliant I wouldn’t settle for anything less than an EX (Ideal) cut as the cut is what makes the diamond brilliant and beautiful.
Also, for a white gold solitaire J+ is what we usually recommend and it’ll look fantastic. I+ when it’s a pave. https://www.diamonds.pro/education/color/

Thanks for replying and for the information. I did like your recovery recommendations but one is out of the budget and the other the carat is lower than what I will like. Do you have any other recommendations? I have this one in my cart too, what do you think?

The diamond you sent me is well cut, but I’m a little concerned about the dark crystal in the middle of its table. It might be too visible. Besides, J color could be an issue in the pave setting, it might end up having warmish tones in it.
I searched some more on James Allen, but couldn’t find a larger diamond that would be within your budget. I found this one on Blue Nile, though:

The specs are great on it. If you can find a comparable setting on Blue Nile, I’d go with it.
