I’m looking for a 1 to 1.5 ct round diamond for an engagement ring. I found this one by following your advice, but when I look at it magnified, it seems to have obvious inclusions:

Can you recommend a diamond for $4,000 to $5,000?
Also, are Blue Nile Signature Round diamonds worth the extra cost?
I don’t like that inclusion either. Can you tell me what style setting (solitaire, pave/side stones, halo) and metal (yellow gold, white gold, platinum)you’re planning to put the diamond in? I want to make sure the J color won’t be too yellow in it.
We aren’t big fans of any Signature lines almost anywhere.
Hi, here is a photo of my engagement ring:
If it is white gold with small diamonds set around the top half.
I hope this helps.
……
I did some more browsing and found this larger diamond:

I really want it to sparkle. Do you recommend this one?
If the setting contains small diamonds, then I’d be cautious with the J color for the center. It might look slightly yellowish compared to diamonds in the setting.
The last diamond is no longer available. Have you purchased it already?
No, I didn’t buy it. Would you go with H or I color to be safe, or should I check the smaller diamonds and match the color?
If the setting wasn’t custom made, the smaller diamonds are probably G/H, so I’d go with I+ for sure.
What is your ballpark budget for the diamond?
$5,000 to $7,000.
How about this diamond?

That’s beautiful. I’ll order it. Do you have any coupons left for James Allen?
Unfortunately, we never had any JA coupons.
I’m glad that you like it. Let me know how you like it when you receive it.
