Q&A: Help Choosing a Pair of 0.5 to 1 Ct. Round Diamonds for a Set of Stud Earrings

I’d like to buy a pair of diamond stud earrings for my fiancé but I don’t really feel I have the knowledge to make an educated purchase. I’m hoping to Give the stud earrings as a birthday present (in less than two week) and would appreciate it if you could help me with this.

Thanks for getting back to me. I’m fairly flexible on my budget I would like to get a nice pair of earrings and I don’t want to overpay for them. I think I would like to get studs that are somewhere between a half and one carat each. Can you let me know what the ballpark is for that?

You can get a 1ctw pair for about $2,800 and a 2ctw for $9,500ish.

OK. It’s more than I thought but 1ct doable. Do you have any pics to give me an idea of what that would look like on a woman’s ear?
